We care about the planet and everyone in it. Many of the practices of other Sahara desert camps release chemicals and waste into the ecosystem as a convenient means to an end. We understand the privilage of being in such an untouched environment and it’s creatures. We go the extra mile (or 6,000) to ensure that we leave no trace and do no harm to the beautiful environment which Camp Adounia resides.

Our Ecological Practices include:

• Eco Sand Toilets, instead of chemical

• Eco Toiletries for the water that goes back to the earth after washing

• Ecological dish washing soap

• Appropriate procurement and disposal of water

• Reduction and proper disposal of waste and trash

We make sure to keep your health and wellness safe and take extra measure to ensure cleaning and sanitation is done correctly.
